I am having trouble with fighting nightsisters and wondered if any fellow pikemen had any tips. ?
Im master doc / Pikeman 2 3 3 2 at the mo however i need to get some attachments to i8mprove pike speed / defense etc. now these things dont come cheap so i thought i would try to loot some from the nightsisters along with some nice lances, but they kill me every time. i go fully buffed ( im buffing 2525 all 8 stats) so the buffs are ok i have a lva dmg 428 and sliced for speed to 2.1 but i keep getting wasted. i have a couple of dots / poison / disease / fire but still i get wasted.

Yea get master and what are the stats on your lance?? i use a 658 one with power up its around 750. They go down fast. I can take every thing solo but elder.

im busy doing tuskans for pike xp to the tune of about 3 or 4k each( Ish ) ANY SUGGESTIONS ON GETTING MORE XP.

Buff up and go to Dantooine, grab a solo group and head towards the nearest Improved Job Market. Take the 20k Piket Protector Missions and you'll probably master it over the weekend. (By next weekend if your not big on grinding).
Make sure you go up the speed column first, and I would suggest taking the defense column after that, to optimize the grind speed. Take a fast lance over a heavy hitter until you grab master, and spam Polearm Stun2/Spin Attack 1 or Polearm Hit 2 (depending on the number of mobs).
At first, it should take you about 20 mins, lance quality depending (I was using a 2.9/120-340 LVA). I would suggest not unsing your best pike for the grind, save it for PvP/Elder Hunting/etc. Dont, however, get discouraged by "it should take you about 20 mins" because the XP yeild per mission is about 1/7 of a master level box (the ones that need 450k XP). In a buff session you should be able to finnish off at least a column, from where you're at.
Trust me on this, I just hit master a couple days ago and that was the best method I found. Just make sure you stun them if they're in large numbers, they can tear you up if your not careful. If you have problems with this, take smaller Piket missions, but seeing as you were bumming around Dathomir, you shouldn't have many problems.

Yea dant is best, I found a bugged spawn of pikets, it was great xp.

fab thanks guys, i have tried all except the geo caves and my xp is rocketting up, should be there in one or at the most 2 buff sessions.

Don't listen to these meatlumps. Thing to do is grab a solo group, go to DATHOMIR, and get giant baz nitch missions (11-12k missions). They are very easy to kill, (if you have a missiondifficulty of 99 or more) they spawn a lot at the lair, and give around 5k XP. For all you people killingEnraged Racors for XP, I'mshowing you the light. No one should fight ERs unless they need the cash.

I would also offer up (assuming it is not broken) the POI on endor - the squil cave (i think). Tons of those lil buggars down there and they dont aggro you. Unfortunately it is normally camped, if not then you can easily grab a ton of xp down there - just make sure you are buffed first - they normally go down pretty easy. Also you can loot the chest and pick up nice attachments. When they are all dead just head out to another POI and clean out that cave then come back. You should be able to gain close to 200k in a 3 hour buff session (depending on your skill level, how fast you knockem down....etc...)

thanks guys, i am almost there following all your advice. got to pike 3 4 3 3 so far but i have limited play time so should get it by the end of the weekend.
incidentaly, whats the best pike available to me for damage...? i have i max 400 with speed of 2.1 lva at the mo but im sure there must be better out there.
