how things going over here?

I am current a Master Combat Doctor (MCM/MD) because my guild needed it.

any new developments, i know the pikeworld (and combat) got screwed with the revamp being delayed...again.

on a sidenote: i am in a certain comic book MMORPG beta and its pretty cool

So having got me a fab new proton carbine, I don't really understand much about the whole slicing thing these days...

I understand that I need to go find me some loot for the slice, just not sure what sort of slice I want...

The speed is something like 1.7 so I figure that's fast enough... so I'm thinking damage, but not sure about the whole caps thing?

I know, I know, I should read through all the FAQ's - I'm currently doing this now but any pointers would be very much appreciated

Now that I got my required sarcastic post out of the way... I gave my proton carbine an 8% damage, one level of speed and one level of Crit. Seemed like a good slice to me.

I agree with Angus, thats the slicing i did on my Vexra Flettchette pistol, and I love it.

the other day I was able to double slice a proton carbine for damage 4%. I didn't have the component for the last level damage slice, so I dont know if it will go that high. I slao did a double speed slice on it for a total of 85% customization.

The speed helped boost my DPS just a little, and made it so my weapon now has 100 points of customization.

I didn't want to go too much with speed, because it would ruin the SAC on this nice weapon.

Tier3 damage will give 60% custom, that leaves 40% and with that it only leaves room for a tier1 crit and tier 1 speed.

Yey thanks... just about got a grip on how you spend your customisation... so I'll go for the level 3 damage slice plus the level 1 speeed/crit... just gonna go loot hunting for the damage stuff now
