Thread: Kashykk bladestick (what was the point)

So i read up on the new pikey weapons and decide bladestick sounds easy enough after reading walkthrough's on how to get it so i go do all the village quests and then fight the wookie in the arena get him to 50% and then kill him so go to loot him and what does he give a Rykk blade yes a Rykk blade. Needless to say a ticket was created pretty damn fast but to my dissapointment got the usual crap back of Sorry ROTW is totally fubared we might fix these things when we can be bothered.
PS no you will never get your bladestick nor or we intending to put a mission resetter on kashykk to allow you to do so thanks for your wasted time and effort but please do continue paying your 15 bucks a month so we can go and get drunk instead of sorting issues within the game.

according to many walkthroughs i wasnt i have now found the other walkthrough for the other quest with the guys son just managed to try 5 instances with no joy will have a check if Lob is there after downtime.

It is a pain if he isn't there, but I found that you have a better chance of finding him in the higher instances. Keep at it, the weapon is very nice for a level 50ish pikeman... very nice indeed.

got him straight after login instance 1 he had fell through canopy instance 2 there he was. Now to find a slicer and a reasonable priced ADK.

Why go through the trouble to get a CL 50 weapon with less dmg than the Vibro Lance?

Because while this may come as a surprise, not everyone has a 1000+ max damage Vibrolance sitting around. And in fact, if you compare the Kashyyyk Bladestick with most post-CU crafted Vibrolances its really not that bad at all, and generally is much better at converting Action into Damage.

exactly right A: do i fight with a 900dmg 63 sac vl at 1.46 or a a 881 54 sac 1.37 kashykk bladestick i know which id prefer B becasue of lower sac will run about the same dps during course of fight and it looks way cooler (one of the nicest weaps ITGIMO until i can either loot a good vl or find one on my trade forums

I've never seen any weapons with stats like that. My VL is 978 max dmg 2.3 base speed and 95SAC. I have not seen any VL with less than 90ish SAC on Bloodfin nor have I seen a Bladestick with SAC of 54. I suppose if I could get a Bladestick with the stats u mentioned I would use it too but from what I have seen the bladestick is not really worth the money or time to get it. I am thinking of just putting a lvl 3 dmg slice and lvl 1 or 2 speed slice on my VL. That would get me the 1000+ dmg but my action still runs out so fast.

And yeah, it looks freakin' cool, especially if you're a wookiee.
It does about 5% dps less than my VL, and looks significantly better. The SAC is slightly lower, so I chose to use it.

stats quoted are using sac pup and my modified stats have +25 polearm speed pre-nerf ubese shirt
