Thread: Nightsister Elders :-(

alright so im rifleman and i just solo'd 2 NS elders and one dropped 2 heavy duty clasps and the other dropped credits, i was told they actually dropped "good" stuff. what i got is not good. anyways i asked my friend and he said the biggest NS slayers are pikemen. i was wondering what kinda stuff u have got, and can u get anything good from the other nightsisters? ive killed tons of the other kinds but i hardly get ever get anything worth it.

also how could a pikeman kill an elder? i thought they only had kinetic and electricity damage, both of which elders have 100% resists towards.

pikeman can't kill elders....try to do it w/ an energy lance. she just regens her damage. pikeman never get good loot from nightsisters, and you didnt' get good loot because you only killed two elders.

It's 2h Swordsman who can take them down. About loot - I've taken down about 10 today, the best I got was some Heavy Duty Leather, however the ability for good loot is there, it just isn't often..

If you're in it for the loot, elders are a waste of time. There's a slim chance you'll get something nice, but it's so uncommon that it's not worth the time invested. Better to kill 20 sentinels or spellweavers in that time, and you still probably won't get anything good.

Kill protectors, faster and the same chance of loot for the most part. Elders just have incredibly rare items(At a incredibly rare drop rate) on their tables as well. But
they're really not worth killing for it.

So becuase i am a PIkaman I am less likly to get any good loot....jsut becuase i am pikaman.


Ok what if a put my Dancer tag on lol lol well that increase my chances

Your chance of getting good loot is no better or worse than anyone else, but because our numbers are still fairly small most of the really good lances are going to be looted by non-pikemen. If an exceptional or legendary lance drops, chances are the person looting it isn't a pikeman. The person who ends up with it is the one who has the most credits. Or you could be extraordinarily lucky and loot one yourself.

I solo elders on occasion when I have nothing else to do for an hour...It's all action fire/poison/bleeds (my swordsman skills are in flux at the moment) and keeping her intimidated and keeping my health up. I've never looted anything good from elders, I know they have the potential for the best stuff, but I get credits, cargo pockets, transmission disks, etc. Nothing good, so I don't bother anymore.

/agree It takes a really long time but with poison fire and bleed you can kill elders.

at one point i was determined to kill 4-8 a day to see what i can get... after one day of getting 3 satchels 4 empty and one with 1438 credits i no logner bother.. i go do janta misisons and pray people i know give mea deal when they loot a pike looking for attachments
