Thread: the ultimate xp haven

well I was bored today, trying to finish off pikeman (4.4..0.4) but Quenkers didnt sound to fun for this freezing morning so i headed to naboo to bust a few dark troopers at the weapons facility. DAMN, the cave spawning still hasnt been fixed. So my guild decides, well lets take out the tusken observer, witch doctor and executioner. so we go and get spanked by them all and as im fleeing i notice a cave entrance so i head in and to my amazement its the squill cave. I cood never find it and noone would ever give me the wp, so i walked in knowing the myths that is is UBER xp place. i equip my armor and hit 2 brandies and drag all them to teh bottom i have aroudn 30 of the little buggers on me and i was unsure of just how hard they were so i whip out my scythe kill 2 in about 3 hits each. so i go to pike wondering if the AoE attacks we have wil be good. OMG! using lunge 2 on the target and spamming stun2 and area attack2 i was just overflowing with xp. i got 400k xp before my brandy wore off! many people will probly know all this already but i felt itll be good to post for the newer pikers. once u get the speed venture here and wait for the lvling to come in. It's MUCH easier than runnign missions all the time. even if ur not strong enough u can always ask for help from the others doing teh same thing there, but at novice pike u shouldnt have any prob with these. I cant wait till i get sweep 2 and area kd all these ugly things.

I'm sure the noobs will appriciate what you have just done but in a week you will be kicking yourself for not keeping your mouth shut. The squil cave is an excellent place to grind as long as there is no more than 4 people there, but the more the word gets out the more people will be there and the less xp you will recieve. Not sure why you would shoot yourself in the foot like this but hey whatever. I love the squil cave because not many people know about it but with posts like this this great spot will soon become another geo. cave.

heh, yes i do liek that its not a POI that anyone can venture into but i doubt on our server itll be very camped, theres a tusken oberserver, witch doctor and executioner (yes all 3) spawn 10m from the entrance. so it takes soem skill to get in without being killed in 2 shots from that rifle

You doubt it will be very camped? Every noob and noob Jedi are down there camping the place. As for the Tuskens on the outside, those usually aren't a deterrent for most people.

i capped really fast in the geo caves last night, ther merc room spawn was bugges, each NPC was spawning 4 times, so instead of 6 spawning each time there were 24, i made 125k cash, a geo blaster schem, about 4 different "yellow" cores and reinforcement ones, and soem ase yellow cubes.........
we had 2 Master pikeman and 2 jedi with dbl bladed sabers, it was like Pike city in there

Ah people crack me up... I used to level at geo... and I have leveled at squill.... but I have a spot where I can level much much faster.... and I don't worry about competition and get great loot... +5 and 6 tapes all day long :-)

you think tuskens can keep me out lol. i used to be afraid of the tuskens, but now i know that you dont run away from them, you run at them so they pull out their gaffi. They do about 1/8th damage with their gaffi as they do with their rifle, and I've killed about 10 observers, witch doctors, or executioners solo.

ya dude ur a fuc*ing moron the cave is packed now and i asked were they got the info and they siad the pikeman fourms so i coem to look and its true omg ur fuc*ing stupid

This is very true. I got ganked by the first observer that I ran across at the Squill Cave - because I ran away. But if you aggro them like a crazed durni, you will have much better luck. My advice if you wanna take on a 200k HAM Tusken...Have a combat medic nearby who can heal your mind. All the brandy and Ahrisa in the world ain't gonna help you if that ba$tard gets a couple head hits in. Also, try to knock him down A LOT. Seems like the damage increase on these things when they areon their backis much bigger than it should be. Anywho....sorry for hijacking. I just got Novice Pikeman, so I was trolling the forums.
