Hi Tiggs, could you be more specific about what Improved server stability is please? It keeps coming up patch after patch and i don't really see any difference? Maybe if you could point us in the direction of what we are supposed to be looking for and we might see whats changed!

Yes agreed..clarification on what exactlyserver stability improved means would be helpful. In my very honest opinion server stabilty improved has been on several patch notes for as long as I can remember and thats a long time.

We do need clarification because I have experienced the same framerate drop while moving within a city time after time. This may be a client side issue like : new ram is needed because I have a gig of ram or video driver update which I have not done because whenever I update a Radeon driver I encounter more problems which is why my next card will beNvidia.

It sounds like what we might view as server stability improvement has different meaning or implications from SOE or developers viewpoint.

Ok as a 1-Month participant in this MMORPG, I have to *giggle* at that. Um, maybe they aren't seeing any new /bug reports (cause the servers are down) which is certainly a sign the servers are more stable.....in the OFF position.

Since we are only actually permitted to play occassionally, they may want to revisit the pricing per month, and also please account for frustration and compensate us as part of the acceptance final test team. hehehe.

At this point, I picture poor Tiggs updating his resume, assistant community manager for (ANY OTHER GAME HERE).

Fixed Server Stability - Fixed an issue where a low spot in the floor of our server room was causing the server rack to wobble. This resulted in lost connections, rubberbanding, numerous game bugs, obsolete skill attachments, insufficient number of interesting things to do ingame and a general imbalance in the combat system which we were unable to address due to a need to create a jedi population explosion.Server stability has now been restored(someone stuck some cardboard under the server rack). Should you experience any of these issues further, please check your computer under "All Programs" to see if you have Freecell installed as this was also identified as the cause of the problem and we're not sure who was right.

Rubber banding Fixed? What the hell does server stability mean? I mean come on folks. Tell us what you fixed so we can cheer you or berate you!!!

Improved server stability is a simple way of saying something that is probably very complex. If they gave a detailed explanation odds are most people wouldn't understand it anyway.

Take it for what it is, an improvement.

There is no hard rule for numbering versions of programs. They could start with any arbitrary number or alpha-numerical scheme they wanted to.

Ok, I apparently need forum training,...please forgive my double post.

I guess my point (Tiggs gender assumption aside), is it seems the month I've been here there have been MANY patches and other updates and corresponding problems.

Please be honest, is this a perpetual problem with this game you have all just come to accept (and cope with)?

I think I would be less depressed if I didn't find it so addicting (minus the warping and other probs).

I also need Tiggs address, I believe flowers would be appropriate for an apology...

Good job team! Keep up the good work! I haven't crashed to the desktop once today (an improvement), and the CSR I worked with yesterday was spectacular.

No offense, but have you ever played a MMORPG before? This is pretty standard stuff, regardless of which game you're playing...
