Huh?! Decreased? Wasn't this just increased (I believe to 200) because it was too short and no one was using them a few publishes back? How much was it decreased by, what is the number of calls it is good for?

They can't stop messing with these - well, hopefully they'll stop now.

Go with me on this one...

The Saga of Customization Kits in SWG

Initially, Customization kits lasted for 20 calls - few used them, since they faded so fast. Default colored Swoops ran rampant throughout the galaxies.

Then, the Devs bumped the duration up to 200 calls. Kits sold more, people enjoyed the duration, all was well. Swoops finally looked personalized.

THEN, the Devs further bumped up the duration of the customization again to 2000 calls, fulfilling their desire to pretty much always go from one extreme to the other. Kit sales ground to a halt, since 1 kit was enough to last like - forever. People bought a 9 use kit and never had to buy another. The kit wasted away in inventories, for the most part.

NOW, with today's publish, kits are back to 200 calls (please verify this, someone - if you could). Which is good - because it'll last a really long time, but just long enough to paint your bike a new scheme every so often, and also it will give you a reason to buy a 9 use customization kit, and not have it rot in your inventory for months and not have a purpose.

Hope that clears things up.

Now, what the hell's the deal with Droid Customization kits, Tiggs - those still staying at 2000 calls? Because 2000 calls is pretty excessive. Thanks for pulling back the vehicle kits to a reasonable duration - but what about those droid customization kits?

Hmmm?

To the devs...

Dont call the 40k ham on a vehicles an exploit!

It was a bug!

i crafted 3 av21 with the same resources and in the same way, one came out as a 40k ham...

I have no idea how and why this happened, an exploit are when peoplereproduce a bug to get better stuff, for me it just happened once.

Sure i have been driving around in it becource i didnt want to sell it and deleting it wasent an option.

Im fine with that it has been fixed BUT im not fine with the ham after the nerf! my other av21 has 2800ham and the nerfed one has 1500, unacceptable!

Dont punish me becource you made a misstake, iv worked hard to get the parts needed, used uber resources and experimented it to 97%.....

So just correct the ham issue and all is fine.

This does not matter too much for me, because I fightNightsisters on Dath all the time. They really like to kill swoops and speeders. So I'm always buying new ones anyway.

I've seen maybe 4 customized vehicles in the last 6 months, does it really matter anyway?

Now I find my inventory (and backpack and every other container) is sorted by alphabet, and apparently my only choice is to use a different column header to alter the sort order (Item type, etc).

Sorrry but I prefer to have items in containers sorted in THE ORDER THEY WERE PUT INTO THE CONTAINER. This makes it a lot easier for me to quickly find stuff in my inventory.

I *like* having all my equipped armor at the top of the inventory. I prefer to have all my weapons in one section, all my food in another section etc. Now the inventory is nothing but a mess to me.

When I look for something in inventory, I do not go by Name, I'm a visually oriented person and grouping objects works for me. This mess does not.

Please give me an option to have things remain UNSORTED in the order I put them into the container !

It amazes me how this far into the game development you Devs continue to find new ways to frustrate players and mess things up.

P.S. and NO sorting by Item Type does not solve this problem. Food stacks and food crates are different item types. Equipped armor, and equipped necklaces/rings are different item types. @#$@$@$@$#@$@$.

Rapidly losing the last remnants of my patience with you people (SOE dev department).

well ... you could put all like items inside of cargo pockets/satchels and name the pockets accordingly. of course this takes up yet more room, but it would solve your problem. Actually, I rather enjoy the inventory/data being organized as such. It makes it easier for me to find things. I am a visually oriented person as well, but im also OCD when it comes to organization.

Actually NO it wouldnt solve the problem thanks, Cargo pockets take up an inventory space, and that would mean yet more windows and time sorting items and finding them again - an extra container level to go down.

I'm happy for you that you like to be able to sort by column headers such as alphabetical. You could do this before, fyi, it just didn't always remember that selection between logins. My problem is with being FORCED to have things sorted this way.

Also remember that equipping an item automatically takes it out of a container such as a cargo pocket. /nod.

Any word on the "Holiday" gifts or are you too cheap to give us one this year? I dare say we deserve one, after putting up with constant problems anddisappointmentsthroughout 2004.

Also, when are we going to see the combat"whateveryouwantocallit" beta? I only ask this now, because its meant to be due in mid-lateJan, and you REALLY can't afford to mess up with this one (or you may as well kill the game now and save yourselves the the grief later on) Best to start nice and early so you can identify all those nasty bugs and un-nerf those lost features which will anger many a player

How about the robes and the orbs?? Will the distribution of these be better this year instead of last year where one was lucky if they got one and luckier if they got both? Half of my guild (all Wooks mind you) didn't get a robe and it was difficult to hold our gathering when half of us didn't have our traditional attire.

I have the same problem. None of my crafting macros work now. I can't figure out what the heck order things are in now. I do not have time to figure this out by random! Please devs! We need help. How do we figure out the order of the datapad schematics now?
