Thread: Microphones.. as an instrument.

Something I noticed was missing... of all the instruments, why not a microphone? You could just make little handheld ones, or maybe use the existing stand ones that "fold out" like the omni box/nalgaron. What do you guys think?

they are already in game... you just can't use them. you can "turn them on" but are unable to do anything else with them...

Perhaps they could be used for theater performances to extend the range at which music is clearly hearable. I was testing theaters with a friend, and I couldn't hear her as well as I would have liked, even sitting in the front row. In the back row I don't think she was even /listen able anymore.
Maybe microphones could work in a similar way to crafting stations? If you're standing near them, the music you play is louder. Just a thought... o_O

I noticed this ages ago, submitted it as a /bug, and of course never heard back from anybody about it.
No wonder there's never anybody in the NPC-city theatres. The 'audible' range (for music AND chat bubbles in my experience, even with the range maxed) only goes about halfway deep in the audience section. Yeah, being in the back row SHOULD suck for a concert, but I seriously doubt this was their original intent
