Gamespot has a story (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/04/01/news_6092599.html) which promises David Bowie among other very interesting revamps. It is April 1, so I take this with a grain of salt. Or perhaps the Bowie part is a joke, and the remainder is true.

In any case, does anyone know if this is legit?

I was initially taken in as well, but I fear it's a joke. There are other postings that are more obvious jokes, like GTA: Port au Prince (http://www.gamespot.com/news/2004/04/01/news_6092598.html).

The thing is, even if this whole Bowie thing is a joke, those as some pretty interesting ideas for the entertainer profession. I hope the devs see it!

I can't say for sure, but if you read through the other 2 top stories you'll see that they're jokes (hopefully), so I'm guessing this is too?

Another clue that it's probably a fake is that the byline is "Gamespot Staff." In any case, it's a well-written article -- they obviously have a good sense of current SWG gameplay and atmosphere.
