Thread: Is 2 Hours to short for a buff?
I agree and can't think of any good reason to keep the buffs at 2 hours. When the entertainer buffs run out, people aren't going to travel all the way back to the city trying to find a buff. Half the time they wouldn't be able to. If they do, they have to wait their turn and then wait another 10 minutes. By the time all of that is done, they would probably have less than an hour left on their doctor buffs. It's just a waste, so it's not like we get extra business because it's only 2 hours long. I suspect a great many people don't even bother getting them in the first place because it takes so long to implement. And, the reality is, often times, when you've got a group going hunting, the hunt doesn't take place until nearly an hour after you get your buffs and everybody gets to the right spot. lol. A lot of people's organizational skills just aren't that good. hehe
The only time people rebuff is when they're in a hunting party with a master dancer or musician. They might set up camp somewhere and rebuff. It's nice and makes us feel even more useful in hunting parties. But, the reality is, at least for me, and I would imagine most of us, we don't charge in instances like this. This is more of a group effort so that we can all get as much experience and loot as possible. Our services in these situations are the same as the docs who heal during battle or the "tanks" who get up close to the mobs and risk their lives. It's all part of the team and nobody charges for these things, and rightfully so.
So, yeah, 2 hours is too short and doesn't really help our income. It's just another way to make our buffs not as useful or wanted.

What about the other exploit for four hour buffs? Did they fix that?
Personally, I think the buffs aren't strong enough, but that's because I'm weak-minded. I guess smart people enjoy music more than dumb people or something.
