Ok this idea is still rumbling around in my little brain but here it is in its current state, might help the devs a little in solving this issue:

Why not combine a little doctor technology with a little crafting technology and incorporate it into the profession? Let me explain:

- Doctors: They buff by applying buff packs, the action of this immitates the healing act

Why not let Dancers and Musicians buff with an instant action that immitates our entertaining act?

Here's how it can work:

Allow us to craft Instruments that have a special "slot" in them / Same thing with dancer clothing

Create a buff pack that entertainers can craft

The buff pack would be inserted into the slot of the instrument / clothing item

Then perform, after about a minute, a special flourish can be done to apply the buff

Buff is done, the entertainer doesn't have to stop entertaining, and can also move onto the next buff if there is a line.

should be 3 separate buff packs that both dancers and musicians can use to buff all mind stats.

Having entertainer enhanced Bio-Engineer Clothing, specialty foods/drinks,and a new droid with entertainer modules (either playback or special effects) can improve buff results (also the droid would allow buffs to be done outside of a cantina, as well as heal Battle Fatigue)

Like I said still kinda conceptualizing the idea, but thats the start of it.

What do you all think? Players? Devs?

Hmm, the point of these slotted "buff packs" would be to speed the time in which it takes to buff? My guess is that the devs won't like that. They've just implemented a two-minute minimum for buffing. Their view is that entertainers are supposed to, well, entertain for a couple minutes.

But maybe I misunderstand the proposal?
