Thread: Surely I am not the only one that noticed...its COOL! :)
That was not my original intent anyhow
I am so stoked about this unannounced addition. It makes it totally worth wild to stay in one spot now. it should really help with the tips as well.
Oh...you want to know what I am talking about since you are at work and can't log in to check it out? heheh
Ok, we now have an ability to show ourselves on the global map! yep, thats right, we are now famous
Anyhow, I hope you folks are as happy about this as I am.
And I want to take this opportunity to thank the Devs responsible for our classes, they are doing a great job!

How the heck does someone even use that to find you?
I KNOW how to do the /register part.
It only works on player-owned locations that are already registered on the world map (currently a feature that is not in). My guess is that this wasn't intended on making it in until after player cities were in.
At the moment it only tells people that the cantina is manned.
It doesn't even work in the Concert Hall or the Hotel so IMHO its useless fo now....sort of like our Gig Missions.
Yeah, I sort of jumped the gun.....I hadn't tested it, but Now I have, and yes, it just shows a "sun" for a cantina with a novice musician or dancer in it, and a "cresent moon" in cantinas that do not have a registered person in it. I was sort of hoping for it to actually list your name on the map, so where ever you might be, as long as you were in a structure, it would show.I would really like to see them implement a name listing for Masters, that would be awesome.
I did test this in our PA, which has a registered vender on the global map. And of course, the building itself has to be registered on the map, so yes, it will be a feature for the player towns. I would like to have the ability to turn my house into a real Cantina, also with the ability to let others place vendors, if we so wish, without having to skill up into the merchant line to register a vendor. I had planned at one time to become a merchant soI could advertise my own cantina, but the game dynamics forced a change of plans on me. Oh well, I for one still think its one of the best games to ever be developed, and the music and dancing systems are revolutionary.
This game will only get better with age, we just have to "co-create" with the Devs and hopefully they can implement our wishes into the game.
