umm thats a bit of a hard one..

if you give it to 1 person to spilt up, they might keep it all for them selfs even if you asked them(this happened once or twice to me ]

best suggesten I can make is, tip who you can see in the group, and if you miss one or two, aleast most people got some

andasking who's at keyboard well help you spot band members, and makes sure your not tiping afkers

good question! easy to handle though...

just ask who is the leader of the group, and once they identify themselves, ask how many people are in the group and if they would mind splitting a tip for you!

by asking out loud, you let everyone know to expect a tip, so hopefully you wont have problems with greedy horders keeping it to themselves.

its also nice to use a round number, just cause its easier to divide. 1000cr between 7 people is more of a pain than 1400cr between 7 people, if you see what i mean? thanks for being a good tipper, there arent enough of you around!

It's not the East or the West side (No it's not) It's not the North or the South side (No it's not) It's the Dark Side! (You are correct) You can't front on the Empire! To all you Vader-haters out there... We'll blow your planet up!

I have a question, Ok i usually tip well, but when there is a big group of musicians playing who should i tip? Should i tip them all or tip the leader and leave it to him/her to ante between group mates? I'm wondering because if there is like 10 people playing and i want to spend 2k credits on tipping and split it up it may seem like i'm cheap because the people dont realize i'm tipping the entire group. So who to tip, The leader or each individual. Thanks for da info.

I would say try to determine the group dynamic as best you can and take it from there. If the group is mostly afk, or sprawled out all over and not caring about everyone else in the group etc... then you may be safer tipping the individuals you think deserve it. If the group seems pretty cohesive though, it should be safe to tip the leader, or even better tip the social butterfly - they seem to always divide the tips the fastest.

Just remember to tip musicians too. We may not wear the skimpy clothes and gyrate like the dancers, but we're people too. Hehe. I'm just kidding for the most part. But it can be a big annoyance when guys come in and drool at my dancers. I'll try and start a conversation up with the person, and I don't even get a "Hi." Meanwhile the dancers get 1,000cred tip each. Now my dancers are good to me, and will usualy give a piece of the action. But still, the fact remains that I do some pretty good healing with my music (in a lot of cases better than any of my dancers) and I'm usually the one to get snubbed because I'm not in a leotard.

But generally, I'd say tip those that went out of their way to converse with you, make you feel welcomed. And in the cases of the whole group doing that, then yes, ask who the group leader is and see if they'll divy up the tip.

And no, I didn't become a musician to be rich. But I do have student loans to pay off, and the Musician Trainers can get pretty expensive at the higher levels. And when there's no Master Musician on the planet to teach me, I have to rely on the NPCs.
