Are there any non-wind instruments? I think everything I've seen so far has been some kind of horn.

There are 3 non wind instruments, though the bandfill does not "sound" like a wind instrument.
The Ommni Box is a percussion/bass instrument that is placed on the ground, which sounds like a Bandfill. You can play this with Musician Knowledge III.
The Nalagron is a keyboard/synth instrument that is placed on the ground, which is a unique sound. You can play this with Master Musician.
The Mandovial is a guitar/string instrument, which is a unique sound. You can play this with Master Entertainer.
