I deleted Galaxies today. I deleted the main game as well as my test center installation. I've got to tell you, it feels great to watch as your computer is listing all the files it's discarding. 
Okay, so it's not the MOST satisfying feeling in the world, but it's darn close!
It gave me a chance to think about a lot of things as I defragged my hard drives and reinstalled the game and its patches. How many of you remember the last couple of backgrounds the installation process goes to beforeyou finish installing the game? It says something to the effect of "Now it is time to enjoy the most exciting Star Wars saga of all... ...YOURS!" I remember the first time I installed Galaxies, I got goose bumps when those slides came up. I was so excited to actually be a part of Star Wars. This time when I saw those slides I just had to laugh at how corny and inaccurate they were.
IMHO, those last two installation statements need to be changed now, maybe something along the lines of "Now it is time to pay 15 bucks a month for a Star Wars themed MMOGATG, to experience the degeneration of profession after profession in pursuit of... ...a 1337Jedi!"

Oh, before you go about deleting your game to experience that rush of euphoria, remember to save all of the information SWG stores on your computer. If you don't, you'll lose all your macros, notepad stuff, and commentsabout people on your friends list, etcetera.

I should probably make this post relate in some better way to Music, so...here's a link to something I saw out on the JTL board. Party Barge!?! hopefully the magazine is not mistaken and the Devs will actually include something for us onboard thse party barges. (I mean come on, PARTY barge? Sounds like entertainers should be involved in some way! )

I bought this game so I could roleplay the best Calamari Shipwright in the galaxy when the SE came out (my Starsider character). You can bet I'm hanging onto the game until after JTL, but even if shipwright turns out to be borked, I'll stay in if they give love to Entertainers in the JTL. If they don't do either of those things right, then I'll be sure to will my Nalargon to you so you don't have to damage Roho's.

How many times do I need to tell you people, you beat others with the Bandfill. It's the only instrument worth a damn in a fight. And Lilo, I have to agree with Kirah on this.....DON'T YOU EVER DO THAT AGAIN!! I'll beat you with my bandfill until it falls apart, then I'll make another one to continue.
