I'm not sure what it's called, but you have to master entertainer to get the certification to play it. What a rip?!
I'm not interested in Image Design. I don't wanna dance, as I think the male dancers look fruity.
Is there a stringed instrument, that you get certification for in the Musicians tree?
If not is there any talk of adding in new instruments?

It's called a Mandoviol, and no, there's nothing like it for musicians, other than Master Entertainers. Master musicians do get the super cool Nalargon though

Booo. I guess I'm gonna master entertainer then. Does anyone know if 250 skill points is enough to master Pikeman, Entertainer, Musician, and have enough left over to have 4 ranks of Pharm. in medic ?

I've mastered Musician, Entertainer, and almost-mastered Carbine, and I still have Novice Medic. I don't think I can afford anything past Novice Medic, though.

Let's see...I have dancer and entertainer mastered...so that's the same as having musician and entertainer mastered.
I also have teras kasi mastered, which would be the same as having pikeman mastered.
And, I have 3 boxes in Musician. So, I don't think you'll be able to have 4 in Medic. Plus, the elite novice boxes are 6 skill points to the non-elites which are 15. So, I think if you mastered musician, entertainer and pikeman, you would only have 18 skill points left over. This would only give you enough for novice medic and one box in pharm, I'm afraid.

That sucks. Oh well. I guess I'll have to play around with my build then. Thanks for the info.

If you really want to have a mandoviol, but can't afford the skill points for master ent, do what I did: Find a friendly DE to make you an R3 with 6 playback modules and a friendly master ent to record some mandoviol tracks on to it. I'm also intending to have another driod, though I'm not sure whether to haveNarglon or Bandfill recordings on it.

Mr Wibble, I have both ME and MM, so I haven't been able to verify that droids can accompany us even on instruments we can't play. This works, then?

It works, yes. Great for lower level musicians to get a bandfill track for their favorite songs so they don't have to live without a beat.
