I know that once again we were slighted in terms of adding much of anything to entertainers. But there is some good things about it. one bad thing is i didn't see that we could get the song/ instraments so i wonder if that will truely be in pub 10. Below is a responce to another post and i wanted to get replys to it so i brought it here
ok i've been on TC2 since pub10 has been up and here is my take....
Number one thing is that this adds quite a lot of RP in the village and the quests too the village. I have to say its the best thing for RP they have ever added ever.
Old man: Yes you have to worry about the sith afterwards... but the req. to get in will be well known w/in a week. So you can be prepared to expect it. Also... we are socializers... we know practically half of each of our respective servers.... If you cant get someone to help you then I would have to say that it is unlikely your being a good entertainer.
Sith camp: With this once again, you can now do it at your own time and call for help. Being social we should surely be able to do this.
After those: You do not have to elect to take any combat missions. You can get to jedi initiate with just entertainer skills... Yes it would take a while, but you get reg craft. XP for making instraments. You get healing with entertaining. That can fill 36 boxes which is enough to get jedi initiate.
After that: wel then your a jedi(ish)... you can continue and focus mostly on healing.... but lets be real, all jedi face *some* combat.
The village adds a *ton* of RP possibilites and fun. Even some of the combat missions we could do. In 40 wp's on patrol i belive i was asked to fight 3 times. Each time.... tho slow, a marksman with almost no skills could win (buffed). The good thing is its a patrol... So unless your a pacifist, you should have no problems with that. Also if your a scout, make tents... play there and you can get some xp aswell ... of both kinds.
Lets be real guys..... this did add some stuff and is good content.... But don't let this post make you think that i don't think we should be able to heal bf at the village and that the healing (senses) line shouldnt offer us better bonus's

The Entertainer quests (with new song/dance) are as of last count scheduled to go out in Publish 10.2, not with publish 10. No need to worry about that just yet.

Good post, FFW. I basically agree with you. From what I can tell, you can get to FS without a huge amount of combat skill, if you have friends.
As for the song quests, what Xyrdre said.

I know that immersion and continutity are pratically non-existant in this game, but having the path towards FS or Jedi require having someone else do the work for you seems ridiculous to me. As you can tell by my sig, my main char has combat skills and will have little trouble with most any of the path to FS, but that's not the point. Someone who is all entertainer - dancer/musician/ID/nothing else - has no choice but to "hire" someone else to kill the Sith just to get to the Village. And once they get there, nothing at all to do, unless they drop entertainer skills to pick up crafting or medic or combat.

Unless I'm misunderstanding how the quests are tied in, in order to unlock a line of those FS boxes, you have to do the quests (except those who've been holo-grinding, that get free unlocks). And there are no quests for an entertainer. You have to have or pick up some other prof to access those boxes, past the novice box.

But just because someone goes through the quests, that doesn't HAVE to mean they are going to make a Jedi. That's something I see constantly in similar threads. People talking about Jedi when the primary concern is FS, NOT Jedi. Obviously, Jedi in SWG is primarily going to be a combat character. But FS!=Jedi. A person can pick up some FS skills and never make a Jedi if they choose.
For myself, I plan on having my main go through the FS quests to unlock a second slot, which would then be the char I would work toward Jedi. I'd probably drop all the FS skills boxes once the 2nd slot unlocks to restore my char's skills to what I want them to be. Some players will want to simply augment their primary skills with the bonuses in the FS boxes, especially crafters.
There's no content in the Village, and little FS bonus, for entertainers. Those who have other skills in addition to entertainer will have quests to do. Those with only entertainer skills are left out, and that's wrong.

On TC2, you can use the Character Builder Terminals to create a master of anything as soon as you log in. Of course, you may not be able to get into TC2, since it's capped at 500 players at a time.

Actually, the first time I did it I was BH/Commando. The Sith were Blue for the first two, then they where yellow/red in the camp.
Then after the wipe, I did it as what I WANT to be (Master Music/Ent/Rifleman) and they were a LOT easier. So I think the sith are spawned by your proffesion type.
And on the song thing, I was wondering why I couldnt find any missions like that.
