I'm sure this has been talked about 1000 times over, but I guess there are "Too many searches going on" right now so I'll just ask. Is there ever going to be a possiblity of Musicians being able to create their own music in the game? Midi files would work super well and are very small in size. I realize that it would take some kind of interface to be able to upload files into the game and might be way more trouble than it's worth. Most people know that it's really easy to create a midi file and you can find them online very easily. It would be a great way for musician's to make money. People could request the songs they wanted to hear etc.
Has something like this been discussed? Is it even possible?

It indeed has been discussed a lot, as it's something many of us would love to be able to do. However, it seems the word is that this would be impossible due to the possibilities of copyright infringement
. Do keep trying on the search feature, as the copyright issues and its intricacies have been well discussed (NewJedi is a lawyer, albeit not a copyright lawyer, and has good insight into the issue, as well as others who have knowledge on the subject).

Cool thanks. The whole copyright thing isn't something that I had thought about. I'll keep searching for the topic.
I mainly thought it would be cool for musicians to be able to come up with original music, but there again you can get into all kinds of copyright issues.
