....if it kicks me off one more time. Can someone tell me why it keeps kicking me off? Some other people in the group said they had that problem before too. I'm assuming it's something messed up on my end.
Help!

With the ommni box and nalargon, you have to keep the instrument targetted at all times to keep playing. It's been on our 'please fix' list for a while.
You'll likely start learning some more / commands while playing these

"I'm gonna shoot my omnibox...."
Please do. I hate the hellboxes and would happily put a blaster bolt into any one I saw.

Yup, that's about it...this has been on our list of bugs since our very first list of bugs. Remember, / commands are your friend, don't be afraid to use them. "//" (minus the quotes)will give you a list of commands, and of course you'll find some listed throughout the Entertainment forums. Remember you can click off of the box of terror and Nalargon for a few seconds to do things like /ventriloquism and to make sure your /setperform is directed to the correct person. Just be fast about it.

Thanks guys. That did the trick. I like the sound of it so I didn't want to give up on it. Plus, the xp was nice.

Upon mastering Musician, buffing with the Nalargon and Ommni box is a bit of a challenge, with the targetting issue.
The 2 most common / commands that I forget to use and untarget my Ommni box/Nalargon (replace playerName with who you want to target) are:
/examine playerName (to see bio/badges)
/setperform playerName (to buff them when not grouped)
In order to see their name, you'll have to hover over them and remember to not click on them.
A pain, but I like the way those instruments look.
A Nalargon screams "I'm a Master Musician who can buff!" So usually I'd play the Nalargon, then when someone wants a buff I'd switch to a horn or something while in the Nalargon still, and avoid screwing up the targetting and stop playing.
Keep in mind, stopping playing while buffing will *not* harm the buff, so long as the person who's listening to you doesn't do a /stoplisten. Even if they're not clapping anymore, they're still listening to you, and they'll get the buff if you start playing again and continue (adding time for when you weren't playing).
It's just extremely annoying they haven't done a thing to correct this. It has been plaguing us for SO LONG.
Ah well.

To add to what Warryyr said, everytime I mention this in the game people go, "OH!!! I didn't know that!"
To do an emote like /hug, /kiss etc while keeping your nalargon or omni targeted all you have to do is add the player character's name.
For instance /bow3 Warryyr would do theemotebow to Warryyr. I know alot of you like to thank the folks who tip you with a /thank emote. Just make sure you /thank playername next time you are sitting at the nalargon.

I don't know if it was the ommni/nalargon training, or if it was a result of me always having the wrong person targetted when doing emotes, but I almost never use emotes without a target these days. I always just use the player name. One advantage of this is I no longer have to look around the cantina to see where such-and-such person has meandered off to to emote at them (and I can easily /whap those who stand in the entryway without having to go up there myself
).
