Can instruments be made in crates or do they have to be made individually?
If then can be crated, which tool and factory is needed?

last I heard, yes to factories. and I'm guessing it's the same factories that make weapons/droids/general. but don't quote me on that cause the only factory I use is for food.

Yes you can run instruments in an equipment factory, ran a set of kloos 98%!! yesterday not that the percent matters but it should. Its just like any other factory run. I normally don't make them by the crate but as instrument sales have increased on Naritus and i'm the only known vendor its a pain to make both guns and instruments and still have time to play.

Yeppers lol. As one of the few people that regularly sell instruments on the bazaar on Intrepid, having a factory is the only way I can keep up with demand! 
Up until a month or so ago, I used to make all instruments by hand. But now, I have more time to actually play, unless I have to run back and forth between Coronet and Theed to restock again heehee.
