Thread: Can a Cantina place by a MM or MD be transfer to a non master?

I've looked around for the answer to this question but haven't got a clear answer. Can the ownership of a cantina be transfered to a non-master musician or dancer?
I would like to hire a Master Musician to place a cantina for me and then transfer ownership to me but I'm nota master musician just a novice musician.
An answer to this question would be appreciated.

Sorry, hon. The answer is 'no.' To place or have a cantina transferred to you, you must be a a Master Musician, Dancer or Chef.
You do not lose it if you drop the profession, but you won't ever be able to re-place it if you deed it for any reason.

That's right. Gotta be master musician, master dancer or master chef to own a cantina.
By the way I would like to take this oppurtunity to ask why people put fountains outside in cities on tatooine. We got moisture farmers workin' their butts off to get little drops of water and here you're using gallons of it for decoration. That's wrong.

You can have a master M, D, or Chef place one, and then make someone the admin. A friend of mine is an architect and owns 2 cantinas. One placed by a dancer, the other by a chef. The "original placer" will always be on the admin list, so make sure it's someone you trust. (while you couldn't remove the placer from the admin list, you used to be able to "ban list" theplacer if you were on the admin list, making you the de facto sole admin --- I think they might may fixed this, as this was very early on).

As long as the Musician, Dancer, or Chef owner does not mind using up the lots for a Cantina he/she has nothing to do with, that works just fine. Actually, that is how it currently is in my Player City. I have not seen the "original placer" since he gave me admin rights on his Cantina (before I got Master Musician).
