Anytime you join a faction, even covert, you are joining consensual PvP. There are several ways to get turned Overt or get a TEF and make you eligable to be attacked.
If you are a member of a faction and do AFK anything, then it is a legitemate tactic to take you out if the opportunity presents itself. Why would any rebel allow an OVERT or TEFed Imperial entertainer continue to heal members of the opposing faction. By killing the overt entertainer, you are limiting the war fighting capabily of the enemy.
Plus how do I know you did not just throw up an AFK flag as soon as you knew I was comming and plan to drop the AFK flag the second I leave. Remember joining a faction joins PvP.
This is a reasonable and well spoken argument that I have no doubt many would agree with, andit is certainly an OPINION that you are entitled to. My opinion states that just because something doesn't break the rules its a legitimate method to do something. The reason why anyone would allow a medic or entertainer of the opposite faction to heal is because of something called decency and honor. Not all characters have it, of course (and that is not a reflection of the player, but the character being played). While this does not apply to a game, there is something called the Geneva Convention that dictates certain rules of engagement and blah blah blah. In that, all medical personnel (entertainers would fall in this category) are non targets, unless they take up arms. It is also expected that all medical personnel will administer to those of the opposite side. Wounded are wounded, and it is the oath of a pursuant of medicine to aid those in need of it. As a player, I personally believe that the members of the rebellion would follow such a dictate, and most medical folks would agree that they should administer to any who need aid. In the real world, killing such a person is a war crime and murder. As there are no in game factional rules of engagement or articles of war, players are left to there opinions and can of course do whatever they want. I always /tell any imperial who kills me honorably (not the same as fairly) and congratulate them for a job well done. I also have an imperial alt who believes in the structure of the empire but still will not go against what I believe to be honorable. But hey, thats just me.
Even in war there are people on each side who are offlimits!!
you ever hear of the red cross anyone ever cought attacking them in in wartime would be sought after for war crimes by the rest of the world after so the argument that if you join a side you should be killed is bull**edit** come kill a priest of a pastor next? I mean they are on a side right?
panzys way out kill an afk entertainer and then feel glory for doing so you = loser
get a life take on live combat or revel in your inadequacys and stoop to killing defenseless people either way you are a pu$$y
