Thread: Can you /setperf with name after?

Ive read the FAQ and other things and I know the idea (when using my Nalargon)is to have my target listen to me, then I stop playing, then /setperf on them, then start playing again. Got that, but Ive got a question. Does the /setperform work if I type my target's name? So say Joe wants a buff and Im already playing can I just type "/setperform Joe" and it'll work? Because if I was just messing around and used that way on someone who wasnt listening to me and it returned that I was buffing "%TT"

From what I've seen, you need to select the person.

i use /setp name all the time when i use a nalgaron. it works fine, unless customers are lyin about the buff they got
