If playing the newest instrument and song yield the best experience points, what exactly is the order from Novice Entertainer to Master Musician? More specifically, is playing a Bandfill (Music Knowldege 2) better than playing a Mandoviol (Master Entertainer)?

Good question. I'll try to remember to compare the two and let you know what I find out. In general, the "higher" the instrument, the more XP you get -- but I don't know where the mando falls, because I got it only after I made Master Musician, by which time I was no longer paying attention to my Musician XP.

Mando should be on a comparitive level as playing a Traz, since the same level can build them both, and it gives Master Entertainers something different to play than all the Traz players.

Bandfill is slightly higher experience in large groups, but its not really healthy on the ears to have more than one, maybe 2 bandfills in a group.

2 bandfills together can sound awesome if they mix the right flourishes.

You can still play mandoviolin if the song is the highest you can play...

You gain the highest from the song or the instrument. If both are the highest, you have no bonus.
