Thread: /changemusic fixed!
Both the whole band sounding like Nal/Ommni/Bandfill and the xp exploit where everyone in the group gets the same xp as the highest level player.
I wasn't able to find a non-LAMEr yesterday to check, but was in a good group tonight and tested it when SW3 got a little old.
I love that idea! I try very hard to make sure that the band is giving the lowest level player an opportunity to play with the band, but when I group chat and ask for everyone's highest song, I sometimes get very little response. Then we switch and you get the message that someone can't play the song. This would enable you to insure that the band is playing the highest available song, (for the group), without having to stop and start several times.
As an added suggestion though, would'nt it be nice if the highest group song were highlighted somehow, as opposed to being the highest or only option, as there are dancers and healers in the band not playing, (but with music ability), thatmight scew the level available. It would also allow for some variety and for a player that has just leveled to at least get an opportunity to listen to and share their new song with the rest of the group.
Just thoughts,

Yay, works great!
Now, it would be cool if you did /changeband without specifying which song, and the little window that pops up only shows the songs that everyone currently playing on instrumentknows.
Don't get me wrong, the issue isn't that he was a newbie musician wanting to play (I was asking them what there highest song was at the time...) The problem is that anyone can use the group band commands. Shouldn't be the band leader (and maybe coleader) that should have this ability? Maybe it could be a command given to novice musicians.
P.S. Of the two that did this, one replied saying he didn't realize, the other went afk blistfully playing slitherhorn unflourished.
