First I have never posted in this forum before. I usually hang out in architect.

Second I do not know if this has ever been proposed before ... if it has link me to the discussion.

Dancers can start and stop dancing immediately they can also change dances without stopping.

Its a great device for dramatic storytelling except that theres no music. We cannot start a song without doing the intro and we cant change songs without stopping ..... This means we cannot provide musical backup for dancers telling stories.

We should be able to use flourishes without actually having to play a song. We should also have more variety of flourishes to convey the various moods the story teller may be trying to do.

What I envision is a Peter and the wolf style of story telling whereusing coordination between dancer and musician will allow musical sound effects to help convey emotional states as well as personality to the various charactors in the story.

as it stands right now those huge theatres are pretty much decoration as they are designed for plays but only able to be used for concerts and dances.

This would be incredibly cool to watch

Though you can't just instantly flourish or start a song without an intro, you can switch songs on the fly, and even switch instruments without a pause (or an intro) with a macro. Might help some.

I'm envisioning something like the Kill The Wabbit song, but that does sound fun to watch. If only people used the theaters more often.
