Every so often, I read something like (Musician Buffs +10%).

I've nevergiven any mind buff to any player, despite Master Musician status. Does anyone know how this works?

The person has to be actively listening to you and the stop listening for a mind buff. If the person just walks out of range after listening the buff will not work, the person must actively select to stop listening to you. Most recommend listening for about 5 minutes for a decent buff. Buffs do stack, so if someone is listening to you for about a half hour and starts/stops listening every 5 minutes, they should have a good mind buff that lasts a decent amount of time(not sure how long I haven't done any testing)

On this patch today I think....they increased the time to about 2hours depending on skill level just like doctors.

omg ive been master musician for like 2 or 3 weeks and novice for MUCH longer, haha i had no clue we could buff ppls mind. DOH, i feel kinda stupid but thats cool.

In particular, highly-skilled Musicians buff Focus and Willpower; Dancers buff Mind. I've tested the new patch on Test Center, and it improves the buff significantly, but it still could use some twinking -- better ratio of time played to buff duration, and some way to target individual recipients and buff them even faster.

So what is the new conversion rate on the test center? Still 2 to 1 like on the live servers, or faster (since the max time is now 2 hours)?

yeah...i just found out about this whole mind buffing thing a few days ago lol.....I felt pretty dumb
