Thread: Thunderheart why the line of bull...?
TH just posted about this in the Correspondent Forum. Essentially, he's snowed under now that he has 30-odd ten question lists. I wish he'd just stuck with his guns and engaged us entertainer classes, as he originally planned. Originally, it was a reply to the drumbeat of complaints from me, Tiaga and Ravenmist that we entertainers arenot getting enough attention. But it morphed into just another top-five exercise, but even slower-moving because now he's got top tens.
Anyway, he did promise to answer each and every one, but don't hold your breath. Besides, I can guess the answers to most of the questions. "We're working on it," and "Do you have any more specific suggestions for improvements to content," andso on.
I've alreadydecided to pursue other tacks. Last week I posted our Big List O Bugs in the Correspondent Forum, and TH did take notice of that. Today or tomorrow I'm going to draw his attention to our Big List O Fun Ideas in my Brainstorming thread -- and I'm going tostart a thread with this question: "When is theMusician publish coming?"
Well, after the reactions to his last round of answers, I take it as running and hiding. I mean, he didn't even post follow up's in the thread like he said he would. He just read people screaming for his job and such, and ran back to the safer forums without saying anything, then posted about how much he posts there. Then said there were more pressing things for him to be posting about. Hell, after the entertainer answers, I was ready to dump musician. I'm sure he'd come in here and post how AFK entertainers are intended and they like them, how they have big plans to give us more fireworks, how they also plan on upping our mission payouts so we can pull in something more "reasonable" like 2k an hour, and I'd go and dump all my entertainer skills.
I'm just waiting for him to say something even worse, something he thinks we'd wantthat would make me actually cancel my account. So maybe he should justcontinue with the shut up and not putting up routine.
JohnMarble, don't give up yet. The devs do have some entertainer-oriented content in the works; it's just that we don't have a timetable for its delivery, and I'm not sure when we'll get one. I'm now prodding the devs to give us more info.

Speaking of which, what's the deal with this thread over in the dancer forum? This kind of thing alwaysdrives me nuts. Some of those dancer's replies cracked me up.

i think we all are johnmarble i also think the main reason we are so bitter is the devs are feeding us lines of crap and making it a point to ignore us.
Yeah, at least the dancers and IDers *got* an answer. We're still waiting.

((We haven't gotten anything, Top 10 or 5. Read back over the thread that JohnMarble linked, and you might understand better why we are turning into bitter, twisted people.))
