Thread: Is this the norm?
I've had pretty good luck with my fellow entertainers. Those who aren'tAFK are generally fun to hang out with. Sure, there are always bad apples. The New York Times once interviewed a taxi driver and asked what percentage of people were jerks."15%," one cabbie replied. "But they move around a lot."
Heh.
/giggle.
I think I was just tired and so when they were jerks I overreacted and decided: I don't want to be an entertainer!! But hey, there are jerks in every profession, you are right. Duh.
So thanks.
I don't think it's the norm, but boy do you sure remember those punks who are jerks!
Just the other day I was in an entertaining group with only 6 people (the town wasn't busy at all) and this guy with a retarded name and nothing but a hat and hot pants comes in. He starts up his begging macro that spams three lines of "heals and tips plz k tks" right in a row, about every minute (while he was ATK mind you). Then he calls two pets, names them "TipUs" and "INeedCash" and starts them patroling around the inside of the cantina.
That wasn't the worst part, I mean anyone can do stupid stuff. So two of us ask him nicely to stop spamming like a homeless begger and take his pets outside. Well, no only does he not stop, but he got insulting about it too.
As a general rule, anyone who spams the same line more than twice is going to be a jerk. I make it a point to politely ask them to not do that when I see it and 9/10 times they tell me to piss off and ignore them.
