In the time I have posted here I have not made it to master. I have not even reached the chindiwhazit horn. I'm 1/2/2/2, and once I get that last 2 I'm going to be done with Musician.
Why am I working for that last 2? Simple. I want to make my own Mandoviol. I'm dropping the profession, but I'm keeping Master Entertainer. Even now, neither bandfill or Ballad has dissuaded me from Mandy and Ceremonial. And the horror stories of Nalagorn and Ommni Box...
The only thing I'm going to miss is the spotlight command. Annoying or not, I like it.

heres what i did. make a macro, get buffed,and leave your characer running in a group in a corner for the night. very simple.

Heh, I like the nalargon and the ommni box. The ommni gives the band a more band-like look, since the performer sits, like a drummer might. And of course both the ommni and the bandfill make any band sound better. As for the nalargon, I wish it weren't a Caribbean "tin drum" so often, but I love it on several tunes, and again it looks cool.
I've really had very little problem with people moving the ommni or nalargon. Once in a while a prankster does it, but usually with a smile. It's not a big deal to me. The bigger problem is that you have to keep them targeted, but you can also work around that by emoting with the keyboard.
