I've recently picked up musician and I have started crafting a couple of my own instruments. While crafting I notice that I have the ability to experiment with my instrument to increase the percentage. However I don't know what the purpose of the increased percentage is? Does it help increase your healing ability? Does it help increase your xp? I'm unsure. If anyone knows, please advise. Thanks

The only thing it increases is your own personal feelings of self-worth and the knowledge of a job well done. Maybe bragging rights, but I'm not sure. That's it.

This may come in the future as part ofa revamp in the musician profession (it seems to make little sense to have them experimentable but then have no impact, when other things that are crafted and experimented upon have an impact). Alas, something to look forward to!

I totally agree that some benefit should come from it (preferrably a lil more XP). I am still working on Musicianship 4, and I am currently using a fanfar and I'm thinking to myself OMG I am only making 28 music xp doing 3 flourishes every 10 seconds. It makes me dread when I have to get 50k music xp to get Novice Musician.
