Thread: Why Can We Not Buff Ourselves?? Lets Do Sumthing about this

You cannot receive a buff while skill animating. Playing music or dancing is skill animating obviously.
Thus there is your fallback. A work around must be created so that can take time, have a little patience people. Every profession has their limitations.

I don't see why we shouldn't get to buff ourselves. Although I'm not going to get any benefit asa master dancer/musician, i'm sure some of you out there would find it very helpful. Kind of like all the doc/whatevercombatprof, but not nearly as good.

At first I must say, I was dissapointed that we can't buff ourselves. But just think about the reason behind it. We mastered this profession not for the defense mods at the end of it to help us in combat. We have no use for being able to buff ourselves. We are meant to entertain others while we play, not ourselves. You may play to yourself for your entertainment but it wouldn't make you any better than you are without it. Your listener is recieving your attention, that means he is getting something extra.I'm going back to master musician and master rifleman not because we've be able to buff ourselves eventually, and we will if you idiots keep ranting, but because I like playing my nally and going out and blowing up someones mind then being able to heal it for them afterwards.
