Just got Musical Knowledge IV. I'm playing an Ommni Box. It'd be nice if the graphic would adjust to the body. I'm currently sitting halfway into the seat. My chin's at the top of the box. My hands are embedded in the center of the box. Just doesn't look right.

There are several threads from awhile back about getting the "edit" button, but may as well not make you look for them. Basically, you have to have been on the forums from a certain date and have at least 100 posts. I think you're qualified date-wise, now all you need is the hundred posts. From there you'll find your edit button in the options menu at the upper right hand corner of your posts.

Hmm, I haven't watched many Bothans play the ommni, and this is the first such complaint I've read. As it happens, I logged out near Coronet cantina, so I'll peek inside and see if I see any Bothans on the drums. And in any case, I'll pass this on to the devs.

I'm a Bothan with a full length muzzle. You know the eighth flourish on the mandoviol, where you play it with your teeth? I play it with the shattered remnants of my jaw.


And it's still worth it.

Just make a macro like this

1. /flo 4


2. /emote peeks over the omni box to see who entered the cantina


3. /greet <playername>

But talking about bothans and instruments, I think we also tend to play the lower keyboard on the nalargorn. Which in itself isn't a bad thing, besides the fact that the nalargorn doesn't have a lower keyboard!

Better being a 5-foot Bothan at an Ommni Box than a 7-foot Trandoshan. Because there's one particular flourish that... nahh, best not go there.
Suffice it to say that a Trandoshan musician I used to know called it his "hump-box"

But being a Bothan musician can be downright dangerous, I agree. Especially when your climbing around on your Nalargon during those more extravagant flourishes. Just hope you don't slip, and if you're afraid of heights, don't look down!
