Thread: isnt 15 seconds a bit too long?
Just something I've noticed...
I've been using a droid with a playback module to compose some multi-part arrangements (how did I ever do without?). I've noticed that when /startband is used instead of /startmusic the 15 second rule doesn't seem to apply.
I don't know if this is a bug or a feature, but there it is. It might be happening only in certain instances, such as when grouped only with a droid or something (I doubt it). But I didn't have any trouble last night stopping and starting a moment later.
BTW there was no one else in the cantina.. I was just there composing. I wasn't trying to speed-buff anyone, I was just looping through the macro trying out different flourishes... ![]()
Gknee, I guess we should try it while solo. I never think of /startband when I'm solo. But then, I never really figured out how to do the speedbuff, either. For that matter, it took me months to get around to making a macro of any kind. Hehe, I just like to play.
Gknee wrote:omg...This works. I never knew...how do you people find these tricks?? I can't do it with my droid though. I have the animation that I'm playing but no sound and no flourishes.
Bugs, not tricks. This isn't intended and should be fixed, so don't get used to it. However, I am working to get the 15 second delay eased off or removed completely.
