Thread: How do I tame the omnibox?

Was wondering how to deal with the ominbox...Everytime I stop playing and then try to restart using my macro or /startmusic, it says I need to have an instrument equiped. Is there a way to remedy this?

You have to keep the Omni targeted or you'll stop playing.

Next Question: Do I get xp for effects? I don't see any noticable difference so Im guessing they are just for show.

No extra XP for effects. I wish they did, but we're not that lucky

Tame ? No one can Tame the fury that is the Omnibox. Instead we can only hope to direct it's musical fury for a period of time. I only hope your never on the receiving end of an Omnibox's wrath.

The devs haven't ruled out the possibility that effects might someday have some effect on gameplay, but don't hold your breath.
