I am so heated about this right now. It's just been most rudely revealed to me that you can 'steal'the ommni box and narlagon from people who are playing them. It doesn't actually 'take' the thing, but it removes it from being in the gameworld, interrupting play. What kind of jerk harasses musicians like that?

uuhm... I know its nerving sometimes when you buff
(this is why I dont use Nal or Ommni when buffing)
but actually its not sooooo much a harrasment else...
Just laugh, pull out the instrument again, wait the
15 sec and continue play.
So no big deal...

it was getting done repeatedly to every member of my band, that's pretty harrowing

In fact then it depends if its a private cantina (get
the guy banned, he is disrupting the performance) or
a public cantina.
Some people like to harrass perfomers there, be it with
words, stealing instruments, placing or running around
with big pets, and so on.
Not much to be done sadly, maybe get one to duel him,
which he for sure will not accept, or try to discourage
him with words (or some blacklist maneuvers like /addignore,
/denyservice and /note'ing done the name).
And then swtich to non stealable instruments as long as hes
around.

I completely agree with you about the Ommni boxes and Nalargons, musicans have been complaining about the targetting and moving of these instruments since the dawn of time--or at least the dawn of SWG.
I do not, however, agree with you having posted the name of your griefer here...I know what the person did was wrong, and your postcould serve to help inform other entertainers on Starsider about what the person did to you, but really, it has no place on the forums (IMHO). Maybe as a future alternative you could just e-mail entertainers you know about events like this and help them build up their ignore and denyservice lists.
Anyway, back to the Ommni and Nala...they should be movable only by Musicians who have the skill to play them. (or by people who have rights to the buildings they are in.)
