Hello all,

I've been a rifleman for a long time and i've gotten tired of combat since thats what i've done in every mmrpg that i've ever played so i thought i would try something different for a change.

I trained novice entertainer tonite and am playing music and doing the flourishes and all that and i am getting musician healing experience but i am not getting any musicianship experience. i thought you got that by playing your instrument(bear with me i am a complete noob at this )

anyways, i guess what i am asking is what do i do to get the muscianship xp going? this seems like a cool profession already, i would like to stick with it. thanks in advance for the help

Hm, actually you seem to do it right.

You get music xp by playing an instrument, best
flourish ratio is 2 in 10 seconds, if your action
bar can handle this.

So the commands would be
/startmusic starwars1

the following may be the repeated part...

/flourish 1
/pause 4
/flourish 2
/pause 4

Then you should see xp coming in, not much, but steady.

You get xp boni, when you have /listen'ers or when
you are in a group with other performers.
YOu should always try to use your best instrument, combined
with best song.

You can get musician xp with building instruments,
but this makes only sense in the beginning stages.
