Thread: Wishlist from a master musician

Hey everyone, Master Musician/Master Enterainer from Flurry here. I just wanted to put a few notes down on the droids that some people may not have caught yet.
First off, aquick note on the music playback droids.You can flourish playback droids. Use /bandflourish # and you will both flourish, it really improves the quality of the music.
Now to the wishlist.
1: The numero uno big request. Let us use music droids to heal and buff just like doctors. Lets face it, its not going to overpower musicians, thats like saying giving snail a shell is overpowering, were so limited as is there is no reason why we shouldn't get some benefit. If doctors can perform complex medical procedures in the middle of the starport with a droid, why can't entertainers entertain with the same?
2: Allow us to put both modules in one droid. As I said before, there is absolutely no way we can overpower musicians in their current state by cutting them in on this.
3: How about giving us some unique sounds for our instruments. Really I expected to buy a complete game yet the most instruments have the exact same sound.
4: Fix the caconophy, listen to a band play jazz or starwars 3 together and you will understand. It sounds terrible.
5: Allow us as we gain experience in musician to actually use notes rather than flourishes so we can create our own music froma library of notes.
6: Allow lower level musicians to join in with high level musicians in their high level songs. Theres no reason why everyone should be stuck playing starwars 1 the entire time they level up.
And thats about it. Any more suggestions?

Healing Wounds and buffing using a droid is a good idea, but I think BF should always be done in a cantina.
My number 1: self Buffs!!!..come on devs!
My number 2: As a Master Musician I want a new instrument that sounds and uses the flo's of the Mandovial, i.e. a Vibro guitar of some sort,
this way Master Ent stays unique but us Master Musicians dont have to spend the extra skill points if we dont want too, to get all the sounds.
This would also be a compromise between the endless Musician/Ent debate.

I think they fixed the different song issue with the deatwatch bunker upgrade -- today i started my highest song, then joined a group and was forced to stop playing.

Ok then, I'll chime in ...
#1 - Self buffs!
#2 - I don't want to have to contentiously target the omni box and Narg. to play them!
#3 - I would like the ability to create my own music!
#4 - A buffing status window or message.
#5 - I would like to see an option for personal cantinas for a band to take over the cantina. Like for parties and such. So when players enter the cantina they hear the band playing like the SWG background music and are automatically listening. And only musicians and dancers in the band group can play in the cantina at that time.
#6 - The "Effects" cost a lot of HAM. Make them do something useful.
#7 - Players in a group should be allowed to play the song the band is playing even without that specific skill.
#8 - Musicians should be able to use droids to play / heal / buff anywhere!
#9 - Master Musicians should be able to play all instruments in the game!
#10 - Theaters are useless! Fix them.
I'm sure I have more I just can't think of them right now. But that’s good for now. Like anything will come of this.

A little thought on using droids to heal and buff while dancing or playing music. Do you really want to see the cantinas empty out completely? Not sure what I'm talking about? Try to find a doctor in most medical centers...go ahead, I'll wait. *taps foot* can't find one, can you?
As for wish list...I have 1 thing on the list...MORE SONGS. We've mastered the art of music and we only know how to play 10 songs (9 if you don't master entertainer). Please PLEASE put some more songs in, especially at the beginning levels. Sick of playing Starwars 1 and rock all the time because the newer people can't play anything else. Dancers have 18 dances to choose from at master entertainer/dancer, and they don't have to do the same beginner dance that everyone else is doing. I just want a little more variety.

Whenever I go into a med center its filled with doctors, medics and combat medics. I never find them empty unless its on a hazard planet like Dath. The problem is they are all afk healing tumblers.
For once I'd like to have the band I play in able to jam in coronet square or have a concert in theed. Lets face it, regardless of combat, the entertainer class is cut out of most of the games content.

Everything I can really think of has already been posted, but I think a drum type instrument would be neat. A larger horn(like tuba size) would also be a neat addition.

I never want to jump on top of my narg and hop side to side EVER again...........
The animations REALLY REALLY need to be changed.......you ever see how rediculous we look when playing folk on narg, or ceremonial on mando?.....or ANYTHING for that matter?
