Heyas
I'm a Twi'lek master smuggler, and I've always loved playing music in game. Normally I stopped being a musician because I realised I couldn't be a master ent, master musician and amster smug at the same time. I'm just wondering If by not taking Master ent, if I'd be hampering myself to any great extent music wise, in other words is the ceremonial, the mandovial and the small bonus to wound healing, all that worth it?

I didn't find the mandovial and ceremonial to be that great anyway. I get more enjoyment out of the nalargon and stuff like ballad or virtuoso. And as far as wound healing goes if your going master musician you don't really notice the difference

the mandoviol and ceremonial are nice, but are not needed, they are just a nice bonus.

Master Entertainer is more an aesthetic choice that anything. The extra +healing points you get don't make a difference, and a Master Musician/Master Entertainer can't buff any better than a Master Musician. The only thing you will miss are Ceremonial, Mandovial, dancing and some Image Design. You can entertain just as well as anyone without these skills.

There is absolutely nothing in the Entertainer box of any value in Image Design (the basic hairstyles andbasic eye colors) that should be an incentive to mastering entertainer. Indeed, there is nothing at Master for an Image Designer either, but that's a topic for another day.

I was a master musician for 7 months before I did Master Entertainer.
For a while I was primarily a gig musician playing weddings, parties, etc. My friends on the gig circuit got a kick out of making be sit out the song while the band played ceremonial.
I actually only did Master Entertainer so that my wife (a dancer who eventually took ME) and I could play a ceremonial duet at our wedding. It was my first public performance of the song.
I can tell you that I will be hanging my mando on the wall soon and using all those skillpoints elsewhere.
