After this anouncement SOE and developer stupidity can not be denied... something like JTL a different and chargeable game took the developers away from the core game and due to that they are not going to meet their prommises. Due to that just about every single good long term player i know has or is quiting When will soe get there head out of their ass? Honnestly i hope they quit working on the ent quest... just give us the song and take the extra time and focus on retaining there customers

Why make us do some repetitive missions interacting with NPC's when we should just get what our professions need - something more to entertain with.

See my post here, I ramble about this exact point of just GIVING us the stupid song/dance. I've never understood why we didn't get it in the first place. Other professions don't have to jump through hoops just to get new content. Why are we treated this way?

I find it Ironic... that combat oriented players are quitting due to CB setback. The devs have been ignoring entertainers for month's.

People leave and return and leave again and new people come. Go check out "The Edge of Yesterday" entertainer memorialon Bria. It contains the name of countless Entertainers who have either quit or dropped the profession. Now that other profession's are getting the Dev's "Ignorance is bliss" treatment... the run for the hills? I find it quite ironic.

When entertainment went south, with the introduction of the Holocron... I turned to "Player Created Content" I've run countless events, helped run countless others, and attended more than I can remember.

If quiting makes them feel better, I say go ahead and do it, but threatening to quit or mass quitting won't bring changes. SWG gets an influx of new, unbiased (for a short while at least...) players everyday.I rather prefer to be patient and make my own fun, but, then again, it istheir life.

Regarding our new content, the Dev's think we want a quest... because we've complained about ours for so long. They think, that as performers, we like "jumping through hoops" and doing cheap table tricks. They don't want to revamp entertainers... ie. just give in to our demands. They'd rather pat us on the head and lock us back up under the stairs. We're the readed headed step child, remember?

I've come to think of the Devs as the Mary Antoinette of Entertainers... "If they can't have bread, let them have cake." They are clueless. Too bad, this story won't likely end the same as that one...
