Thread: Dropping a cantina

Question:

I know only a master musician/dancer can drop a cantina.

Can a cantina be dropped outside a city and can ownership be transferred to someone who is not a entertainer at all once its dropped?

It is my understanding that player cantinas can only be placed within a city.


And, I believe once you drop a cantina you can only transfer the structure to someone who can actually own the cantina, i.e. a Master Dancer or Master Musician.

Or Master Chef, presumably?
(I've not confirmed this at all, I just read it somewhere in the KB that Chef's can drop cantinas)

A cantina needs to be set up within a city, but if the city is disbanded, the cantina can remain as it is a player structure, not a city service structure. The same should be true for med centers and theatres.
