Ok, I hit master musician last night... The reason I have built the toon is to play in our cantina near Fort Tusken... I plan on playing unattended as the reason is just to give people a place to repair their mind before going back to the Fort...

Anyway, I had a nice repeating macro for any other instrument, but both the omni box and the nalargon do not work with the macro.... I can't do /playmusic virtuoso and get them to work....

Does anyone know how I can have the macro start the nalargon or omni box automatically in the macro?

Any help is appreciated... (I also know many of you do not like musicians that go unattended, but I cannot play while I am at work and its a very valuable service to others....)

Thanks all!

If you're playing alone, not in a group, simply target the Nalargon or Omni, and start playing manually with /startmusic. Then select virtuoso from the menu, and begin a flourish cycle macro such as:

/flourish 1

/pause 5

/flourish 2

/pause 5

etc...etc...Then of course have the last string of the macro repeat itself. If your stats are migrated properly, even constant flourishing like this won't affect you. If not, add longer pauses or play a different instrument on your normal macro without the targeting bug.

Hmmm, I guess I could do it that way.... I was hoping somehow to add the narlagon selection and playing in the macro... (I have the wife kick this off for me after the server starts)

Means I have to train her more...

Put the Nalargon in a hotkey bar and make the following TWO macros:

Macro 1:

/ui action toobarSlotXX ; (Where XX = the slot # the Nalargon is in)

/macro PlayNalargon ;

Macro 2:

/pause10 ;

/startmusic XXXXXX ; (Where's XXXXXX = the song you play on it)

/pause 2;

/flourish XX ;

/pause 5 ;

/flourish XX ;

/pause 5 ;

/heal self ;

Add whatever else you want in here ..

/macro PlayNalargon ;

The only thing that she (your wife would have do is to target the Instrument (I'm assuming it's like the Ommni Box and needs to have focus on it. I put the first pause as 10 to give her enough time to click it and if not enough time the macro loops anyways so it'll get it on the next round if she misses the window.

You can get rid of the /heal self if you don't have any stim packs or medic abilities (If you do keep the /heal self make sure you keep individual stims in your main inventory.

Oh change those pauses in the between the flourishes to 10 seconds or more since you don't need the XP and it's only an Action burn for you. (Or you can get rid of em entirley if you dont' want them in)

As an after
thought just in case you aren't aware.

The /macro PlayNalargon command automatically executes the macro of the name PlayNalargon, so if you change the name to something else then make sure you change that line too. It's used so it doesn't take up space in your Hotkeybar, it calls it from anywhere no matter where it may reside (Even if it's in your CTRL+A menu)

Ok, I'm sorry to post this question, and I did look for it in the threads but could not find it. I just made Master Musician and I finally aquired a Nalargon. I understand the dropping, targeting, playing, etc... The only question I have is how do I store it when I'm finished playing. The radial on both the Nalargon and the icon in my inventory do not give a store option. When targeting the Nalargon I get the options to "play", "examine" and "destroy". Obviously I did not want to take the chance with destroy. Please let me know and again I apologize for a stupid question. Thanks

Running a far enough distance away from it will store it automatically (it's not too far).
I don't know of any way to store it other than that if you have it in a public place.

Nalargons are easy, as are Omnis. Just walk away from them. They autostore.

Not a stupid question, this one baffled me too for awhile.

The option randomly appears or doesn't appear in the Radial menu, it's "Pick Up" when it shows up. Usually what I do is just leave the Nalargon out and run away, about 50 to 100m. The Nalargon auto-stores. If you look in your inventory when you drop the Nalargon, you'll see it's still in there - you didn't really "drop" it. So, it's always there for ya so long as you don't click on Destroy Smart choice in not selecting that! hah.
