Okay, recentlyI read somewhere that NPC-runtheatres give better healing than cantinas, but that's all I remember about it, and I can't find the thread. I also read that player-run theatres are bugged and don't work properly for healing. I can't believe I've been playing this game as an entertainersince July last year and I never knew these things. Anyway, here's my question:

What benefits, in terms of XP, healing, buffing, etc., do theatres and hotels (both player-run ones, and the NPC ones in the major cities)give over those provided by cantinas? I'm about to go on tour with my new show, and I'd like to provide the best service I can, if it's needed. So I want to hold my events in the venues that give the best heals etc.

Since June 2004, running one of the game's first completely nonviolent characters. Testing the limits of non-combat MMORPG play and trying to have fun into the bargain (although the developers make it difficult).

Combat is no longer compulsory.

I know that early on, it was reported in a FAQ, or something, that theaters gave a multiplier to entertainer healing. I can't remember for sure if it was just a ×2 or a ×4 multiplier.

Beery... there is no difference in healing in an NPC Theater or Hotel over a Cantina that I have ever been able to discern and I dance a lot in both venues.
