That rationale made some sense to me in the first few months of launch. At launch, our profession did work better than many others. We could level up to Master, all our songs worked as intended (even if the design of instruments wasn't great), and our healing worked well enough. Also, in the weeks and months after launch, AFK'ing was rare. By contrast, my carbineer was hopeless, my Bio-Engineer was broken, chefs were hurting, DE's had no market, and Bounty Hunters had that awful investigation line.

But now the situation has mostly reversed itself. Our profession has gotten *worse*, in many ways, while most other professions have either improved or at least remained stable. We've had two improvements of note -- the buff and the droids -- but major disasters in the form of Hologrinding, AFK'ing, and buffbotting. It seems to me that our play style now "works"worse than any other play style in the game.

ROFLMAO...you have GOT to be kidding.

As NewJedi says, our playstyle has pretty much sunk into the depths of hell.

I suppose it's true that our songs work, and our buffing works...technically. But, I'm afraid not...we have been rendered obsolete by buffbots. We have no place in the economy of the game anymore. Our Cantinas are, dare I say, miserable places to be. Most of us can't be bothered to even do our thing anymore because the environment is so horrible and we have no more function because the afk'ers and buffbots took it away. We can no longer "play" our game. I would hardly call that a working profession. And, the fact that a CSR said that to you...while oftentimes they dunno what the heck they're talking about, makes me think that this is how the profession is viewed by the devs...which does nothing but make me sadder and chips away at my hopes.
