I love music greater than any non sentient thing.
We may wage wars for honor. We may seek riches for power. We may pursue knowledge for prestige.
However, music fulfills our souls.
Music is a force greater than The Force (even if it were real).
Music was an integral part of the Star Wars movies.
Our means to create music can be taken from or denied us. It cannot be taken from our minds.
Music in this game could really be awesome were we to be given the proper tools (and I do not mean the ability to compose music).
I would like to have a proper design documentation for Musician for our children in ten years so that they may experience it in the limitless world a Massively Multiplayer Online game makes possible.
Please concisely present your ideas here for what you think Musician can and should be in an MMO.

I will start it off.
I do understand the legal limitations that prevent us from being able to compose music in-game.
- a large and constantly growing choice of instruments (with different sounds) and songs
- ability to play scales (but not the individual notes because this may lead to legal problems)
- ability to change the tempo
- ability to play a song in any key / octave
- nearly unique sounds for different instruments of the same exact kind ( I know this would be difficult to code but maybe some sort of pseudo-distortion algorythm could be used? )
- to go along with this, instruments with relevant quality
- multiple 'stop flourishes' to choose from
- ability to sit, jump, walk, march, crawl, kneel, do back flips etc. while playing music
- [more to come]

It seems that the Acrobat profession was a ghost and will not be going live any time soon. What exactly does that have to do with this anyway?
