Thread: The Mandoviol Rocks!

I just made master entertainer last night, and I really really love this instrument!
I'd only heard a few songs (maybe 3) played on it before, and only for brief periods, so I had plenty new to hear when I made it.
And those who have posted how much fun they have just playing while waiting for shuttles, it's totally true. I traveled for the first time in a long time yesterday, and at my shuttle waits I got out my mandoviol and watched as one by one the people around me started clapping lol.

Aww, that's great! I love it!
My alt is almost Master Entertainer, just have to dedicate some ID time and get some App points. I can't wait until I can bust out a Mandoviol!
You've just made me really excited about the prospect - it's one of the less common instruments in the game!

Yes, the mandoviol is really cool. Warning: I personally think it sounds like hell on the 'jazzy' songs, StarWars3, Jazz and Virtuoso. /shudder But those come out wonderfully on percussion or horns, so not a total loss. I desperately miss the mandoviol, but I don't think I'll ever have the patience to work on Image Design 1-4 again now that it takes 2 minutes per design. Not to mention I need Master Brawler to do what I do most of the time now anyway, so I can't toss that aside in favor of Master Entertainer.Congratulations on being able to play the coolest instrument in the game! I hope you can stick with it. It's beautiful on Waltz.

Waltz, heck even Ballad on the Mando can put you to sleep
I still love my Mando!
Congrats on the Entertainer Master, its a big skill point price to pay, but IMHO its well worth it

Heh, the mando may well be our best instrument, and it's not even *our* instrument. It transforms SW1 from one of the worst to one ofthe best songs.

I love the classical string sounds of the mandoviol on ballad, waltz, ceremonial... if you like chamber music, you'll love this. If you don't, it may be snooze time.
Mandoviol is still my favorite instrument across the board.Congrats on mastering Entertainer!
