hi, i hope you dont mind me posting this here.. i couldnt find anything about the entertainer protest on the dancer boards, so i hoped that you could help me instead..

well, the thing is, im writing a protest song for tonights entertainers protest..
and i wanted to both share it with you all (feel free to steal and use it yourself, though it would be nice to be mentioned if you do so), and also get some feedback and maybe suggestions on further verses (especially verses for musicians, since im not one myself, i dont really know about your problems).

here is what i got so far:

No Love for an Entertainer

verse 1
What was it that happened?
What really went wrong?
The cantinas are packed,
but they're not singing the same song,
except for "please tip me, please heal my action"

chorus 1
The AFK grinders had it good
I dont think they understood
the horror of always doing the same dance,
same flourish, same music, same stupid old trance.

chorus 2
There's no love,
no love at all,
no love for an entertainer,
no love for musician or dancer.

verse 2
I thought it'd get better,
once I'd become master,
sure, the dances are ok,
but flourishing's a disaster,
this wasn't what I was after.

verse 3
I love my profession,
dont get me wrong,
but is it too much to ask,
that you put in another song?
flourishes that work, or buffing that doesn't take to long?

chorus 1
The AFK grinders had it good
I dont think they understood
the horror of always doing the same dance,
same flourish, same music, same stupid old trance.

chorus 2
There's no love,
no love at all,
no love for an entertainer,
no love for musician or dancer.

Here's another one, adapted from a Gillian Welch song:

One More Credit

A long time ago I left my home
For a job in the cantina
But I missed Naboo's hills and the rolling plains
For their song seemed to suit me

So I sent my wages to my home
And said we'd soon be together
For the next good tip would pay my way
And I would come home forever

Chorus:

One more credit to show for my day
One morecredit and I'm on my way
When I reach those hills, boys
I'll never roam
One more credit and I'm going home

No work said the boss in the back room bar
With buffbots I don't need dancers
Soat aLugjack game in thehotel downtown
Iplayedand took my chances

Chorus

A long time ago I left my home
Just a girl passing twenty
Could you spare a cointowards aticket home
For the Forcehas turned against me

Chorus

One more credit
And I'm going home
