What does the Ventriloquism skill do?

I think it's the one with the red hearts or lips things coming from people with a white flash of light. Not sure, I'm jsut starting the tech tree.

What does "Musician Mind Enhancement" do?

Isnt't ventriloquism the one where you actually can target someone else and have the lights done on them instead of yourself? I don't have tech yet so can't say for sure.

Ok, Ventriloquism projects a flashing light and a bunch of flying lips(yes, they look like lips to me) from ur selected target. It's pretty fun esp if u hide ur Master Musician Title and then do it on newbies. They'll wonder what the hell it is. Sometimes I just say "Oh, it's a random thing when we have a full group." Advise that this skill not be used when playing the nalargon or ommni box. Well, u can but u have to be quick to target ur instrument b4 u stop playing.

Ok what good is an ability that requires a target and when you untarget your Ommni Box Or Nalargon you stop playing and cant do special effects? I know I could be playing something else but still...

well it's a pain but you can actually pull it off. You have to fire off the effect and then quickly target your instrument again. there is a slight delay after you untarget the Ommni (i assume the Nal is the same) before it throws you into the stopmusic routine. I'll be the first to admit this is a hassle and I'd like to see the mechanic of constantly targeted instruments changed even if it means that only 1 person can play each Ommni or Nal

Mind Enhancement is plusses to the Mind Wound Healing effect that Musicians (and Dancers) get. If you're specifically talking about the skill enhancers, they go in Tailor made clothing that have sockets. Each bit of clothing can have up to 4 sockets. Theoretically, all clothing can have 4 sockets, including your backpack, and some clothing can also be made from a Bio-Engineered cloth that improves musical/dancing healing too.
