Do you get more xp if i clap or cheer for you?

at what rate? so if i clap and cheer in my /tendwound macro do they get even more xp or is it only 1 clap or cheer...what if i /clap /cheer alternate till my 14sec timer is up is that the most xp i can give them?

Only cheering has a positive effect on the entertainer's XP and it's not very much, maybe a 2-4 xp increase for 1 or 2 ticks, but if you cheer for a dancer in a group then everyone benefits from it.

I actually helped the devs beta-test this feature way back in beta. One of them spammed a /clap macro at me while I played, and at that time I was getting tons of extra XP for each macro'd clap! The dev didn't seem too thrilled about that. Hehe, then a day later a hotfix went in, and suddenly claps only conferred a little extra XP, and onlyonce or twice every 10-20 seconds. That's the way it was when the game first went Live; it's been so long since I made any Music XP that I have no idea if it still works this way.

Anyway, the short answer is that you have me to blame for the /clap nerf just before launch.
