So each night on my server, at around 10pm, everyone in the coronet cantina gets booted and everyone kicked experiences a small rollback. Maybe this is done to boot AFKers. Maybe simply to reduce the hideous lag, maybe both. My question is, does this happen on any other servers? I'm on wanderhome.

It is the AFKer's!! They are lagging the cantina.. I went into Cnet Cantina today, to get some mind wounds healed "I couldve done it, but thought some people needed some xp ) and there were probably 50 people in there, 40 of them were AFK, most of them had other tags on, so they were more than likely Holotaining..

But, I would sopose that the server just cant handle that zone any more, and drops it . I have never experienced a xp roll back though..

But I cant wait for the Devs to say that they are through with the holocrons .. That will definently cut down the AFK people in the cantina..

yup happens every night for the past 5 nights bar last night on intrepid, "connection loss", usually at 4.55am UK time

Dont tell me its lag. That BS. If you are experiencing lag in any way its your computer. I run a 3.8 ghz P4 Overclocked to 4.2 ghz with 1.5 gigs of Kingston DDR RAM and an ATI Radeon 9800XT 256. I experience no lag in the game whatsoever no matter where I go. I keep the graphics at max, and I dont get any chop.

I am 3 boxes from master musician, and do my playing in the Coronet cantina where on every given night there are +40 entertainers/musicians/dancers in the area at the time. I never get booted in any way, shape, or form.

The problem lies on your end man, not on the server.

Well it happens on the Bria server now for the past couple of days, around 9 pm est or so the Coronet Cantina goes down, but other places on the server stay up so not just you.

Well it is not happening on Shadowfire! I am on all night till midnight Eastern Standard Time and I havenot experienced this yet. Maybe it is on your end.

Lol, look at your computer, you dont have a "Normal" computer. But truthfully were did you get a 3.8 Ghz Computer? Ohh, and I guess you have DSL, or you would probably say a OC-48 connection, right?

I think you are BS!

You have no idea how much I want a 3.8 gig processor. Well, I will tell you...A FREAKING LOT!! Please tell me where in the name of God in heaven you found such a great thing, and on top of that how you keep it stable and cooled, with it being OCed and all.

I'm running it OC'd with a Thermaltake Waterblock and cooling system. The whole thing is encased in a Coolermaster Thermal Case.

And that was my bad with the typing error... Its a P4 3.4 that was OC'd to 3.8, then to 4.2. At this time, its running stable with no problems, but I decided to not keep it at 4.2 for safety reasons to the processor. This processor can be found just about anywhere online, but if you do some research, you will find that the unclocked Clock processors are only available from the manufacturer themselves. This 3.4 Unlocked Processor was purchased off of ebay for $346 in a 6 day auction.

I know my computer, and have been working on it for a LONG time. To get it to where it is now took some real hard work. I'm actually waiting on new parts atm to piece together a Refrigeration storage/cooling system. Only in the beginning stages though, and only started pricing things out a week ago.

Oh... and I run off of a Cable internet connection at home.

Dang i cant type... it was supposed to read that I have been keeping it at 3.8 for safety reasons.

Do you intereact much with people outside of using your computer? I doubt there is much of a need to leave your mom's basement.

It is not on your end it is the server. This has happened on Ahazi many times. The other night the whole cantina got kicked and when I logged back in there were only 3 of us and everyone slowly came back. We all got rolled back on xp and this happens very often.

So to Mr I have an Uber comp and you all just suck it is the server and not everyones machine.
